Dr. Slump: Hoyoyo! Space Adventure (Dr.スランプ “ほよよ!”宇宙大冒険) is the second Dr. Slump and Arale-chan film and was released on July 10, 1982. Unlike the first film, this film is a full length movie that features an original stand alone story that is not from the manga by Akira Toriyama, and is also the the first full-length movie adaptation because of the short length of the previous. The movie is featured in a set containing the first five films, officially released in English subtitles to North America by Discotek Media on July 29, 2014.
Story[]
Arale, Senbei, Gatchan, Akane, Taro and Peasuke go on a space adventure to save Midori from Dr. Mashirito after tricking her into coming back to her home planet to marry him.

- The events of this film are not actually part of the continuity of the series. The films story contains alternate versions of The Biggest Bye'cha of All arc and the Dr. Mashirito's Ambition arc.
- With its original theatrical release, this film was simply called "Dr. Slump". It was only when released on home video that the film gained its subtitle: "Hoyoyo! Space Adventure".
